Drontal is recommended for the control of all gastrointestinal worms in dogs including roundworm, hookworm, whipworm and tapeworm (including hydatid tapeworm). Suitable only for small dogs and puppies. Fasting prior to dosing is not necessary. It is essential to weigh dogs before treatment. Dogs are treated by weight with the appropriate sized chews or combination of chews. Drontal is given as a single dose by mouth. Fasting prior to dosing is not necessary. Do not use in puppies under 2 weeks of age.
