Previously thought an older horse disease, PPID is now frequently diagnosed in horses as young as five. Patches of hair that don’t shed can serve as an indicator of PPID, in conjunction with deterioration in athletic performance and a sharp change in attitude. Using Pracsend as part of PPID management can help to reduce these symptoms and may improve the quality of life for your horse. When given as directed by your vet, the active ingredient can affect hormone production and may help reduce symptoms to a more comfortable level for you and your horse.
