Rilexine is an antibiotic containing cephalexin which is particularly used for skin and urinary infections in dogs and cats. Sometimes long courses are required to completely clear infections of this type, so it is important to continue the whole course without a break. Sensitivity testing is recommended to ensure that Rilexine is appropriate for the causative organism. Rilexine tablets are beef flavoured for ease of administration and are happily taken by most dogs and cats.
