Rich in gamma globulins, Equiplas is collected from hyperimmunised donor horses that reside at the Plasvacc plasma production facility, the only facility of its kind in Australia. Equiplas is used to supplement the immune response system of horses and is a highly effective treatment for Failure of Passive Transfer (FPT) and Partial Failure of Passive Transfer (PFPT) in foals. Equiplas can also be used to great effect as a supportive therapy for a range of conditions such as diarrhoea, colitis, renal conditions and other active infections.
